Map Quiz terms

Our first map quiz is scheduled for January 30. The following countries, cities, and geographical items might be included on the quiz. Students are responsible for locating and memorizing these before then. When the quiz is administered, students will be given a blank map along with a list of 20 of these terms, and they will have fifteen minutes to fill in those places the map. The map will be given to the student completely blank, except for national borders. Do not worry about the location of the capital cities, but be sure to memorize them. Spelling errors will not be counted against you unless they are frequent or extremely pronounced. 

Possible terms:

- Mexico and its capital city

- Caribbean Sea

- Gulf of Mexico

- Every country in South America and its capital city

- Every country in Central America and its capital city

- Haiti and its capital city

- Dominican Republic and its capital city

- Cuba and its capital city

- Jamaica and its capital city

- Trinidad and Tobago and its capital city

- Pampas

- Amazon Rainforest

- Brazilian Highlands

- Peruvian Altiplano 

- Andes

- Sierra Maestra (Cuba)

- Río de la Plata (or River Plate)

- Yucatán Peninsula

- Patagonia
